Four businesses found in violation of underage drinking laws

On January 11, 2013, Lafayette Police conducted an underage alcohol possession operation targeting those individuals under the age of 21 in possession of alcohol at businesses within the City of Lafayette. A total of 11 locations were checked during the operation. Of the 11 locations, 10 persons under the age of 21 were found in possession of alcohol. Below is a list of the locations checked and the violations issued:

1. The Bulldog, 109 General Mouton Ave, 3 – Summons / Possession of Alcohol by person under 21
2. The Keg, 115 McKinley St, 4- Summons / Possession of Alcohol by persons under 21
3. Marley’s, 407 Jefferson St – 2 Summons / Possession of Alcohol by persons under 21
4. Daiquiri Supreme, 4680 Johnston St – 1 Summon / Possession of Alcohol by person under 21
