Former UL football linebacker, Lance Kelley, was arrested early yesterday morning on drug charges.
Kelley played on the 2011 team.
Kelley was booked into the Lafayette Parish Jail and is accused of having weed in a school zone.
It is a felony charge because school zones are considered drug free zones.
Sources said police iniitally pulled him over because Kelley ran a stop light.
