An East Texas couple arrested for injury to a child was found guilty in a smith county courtroom Tuesday afternoon.

Kenneth Neal Walker, 55, Shelley Walker, 60, were taken into custody in February.

The grandparents were convicted of placing their 2-year-old granddaughter into scalding water in a bathtub at a house on Aberdeen in Tyler.
