LAFAYETTE, LA (KADN) — A 54-year-old man died in a single-vehicle crash last night.

The Lafayette Police Department reports that the crash occurred at roughly 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 3. We’re told the driver, Wilton John Hamilton of Duson, was driving in the 3200 block of Cameron Street. For unknown reasons his vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole.

Hamilton was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation at this time.
