Denham Springs trio arrested with stolen property from three states, including a rock wall

 A tip led Detectives with the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office Burglary Division to a home on Highway 16 in Denham Springs. On August 6, 2012, a search warrant led to the recovery of numerous stolen items.

Stolen tires, rims, tools, farm equipment and a rock wall were seized. The estimated value of the recovered stolen property is $108,500.

At this time, Detectives have connected the stolen property to victims in Louisiana, Mississippi and Oklahoma.

The rock wall was destroyed and used for scrap. The victim - a local man - would allow local churches to use it for children’s entertainment purposes at fairs, etc.

Methamphetamines were also recovered during the search.

Venton Bargas, 36, has been charged with Illegal Possession of Stolen Property, Possession With The Intent To Distribute Schedule 2 Crystal Methamphetamines, Possession Of Schedule 2 Methamphetamines, Simple Burglary, Theft By Fraud, Felony Theft, Criminal Damage To Property, and a Hold Placed On Him by Lawrence County, MS for Grand Larceny & Joy Riding. He is currently in the Livingston Parish Detention Center.

Lesha Landry, 39, has been charged with Illegal Possession of Stolen Property, Possession of Schedule 2 Methamphetamines, Simple Burglary, Theft By Fraud, Felony Theft, Criminal Damage To Property, and a Hold Placed On Her by Lawrence County, MS for Grand Larceny and Joy Riding. She is currently in the Livingston Parish Detention Center.

Rhonda Buche, 51, has been charged with Illegal Possession of Stolen Goods, and aHold Placed on Her by Lawrence County, MS. She is currently in the Livingston Parish Detention Center.

This case is still under investigation, and more charges are possible.
