Changes could be in the works at Angola for death row inmates.
That is because a serial killer's art went up for sale!.
The art works of Derrick Todd Lee were posted to a website that bills itself as a retailer of true crime collectibles or as they put it, Murderabilia.
The panda sketch is now listed at $150 which doubled in price overnight.
The swan sketch sold for $75 but it is already up for resale on another site for $200!
Jail officials reviewed a copy of the letter sent by Lee to the website.
In the letter Lee is telling the co-founder of serialkillersink.net how she can get a hold of the art work he has done and how to wire him money for them!
Warden Burl Cain said Lee is on death row for a reason and he should not make a profit off his criminal past.
"We weren't looking for paintings in the past, we were looking for weapons. Things to keep the prison safe. But now were going to expand it, because it's important. It's crazy. You know people are sick to sell it and people are sick to buy it," exclaimed Warden Cain.
Derrick Todd Lee was linked to the deaths of seven women in the Lafayette and Baton Rouge areas.
In 2004, Lee was convicted in the deaths of two of the women.
