Emergency officials say casing is complete in two vent wells near that giant sinkhole in Bayou Corne.
Today work is scheduled to wrap up on a third casing site.

 The wells will eventually help relieve gas pressure in the area.
Parish officials say there is still a lot of work before crews can begin venting gas from inside the aquifer.
They say that could begin sometime this weekend.
