Baton Rouge ranks ten in fall allergy capitals of America

Friday, September 28, 2012 - 8:38pm

For the third year The Weather Channel teamed up with the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America to release the top 10 fall allergy capitals of America.
Baton Rouge took the number 10 spot.
The report blames geography, a low-lying, swampy area.
The city ranked 23rd last year.

The report says you can blame Hurricane Isaac.
Isaac gave the fall allergy season a little push.
All that extra rain spurred the growth of pollen producing plants
