Bank robber, carjacker back in Lafayette to face charges
LAFAYETTE, LA — A Baton Rouge man who allegedly carjacked a Lafayette woman then robbed a Whitney Bank has been sent back to Lafayette to face charges.
Justin Seawright, 32, was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center.
After allegedly committing the crimes, Seawright fled to Bay St. Louis, Mississippi where he was captured last week by members of the U. S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force.
Seawright is being held on a $150,000 bond.
