Around The World Violence in Iraq claimed at least a dozen lives over the weekend.
One of the bombings took place near a playground and small market in Eastern Baghdad.
Children were among the dead and injured.
A bomb attached to the underside of a bus carrying Iranian Shiite Pilgrims to a shrine in Baghdad also exploded.
The attacks took place during the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha.
Italy- There was Defiance Saturday from former Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi.
Berlusconi was convicted of tax fraud and sentenced to four years in jail.
He accused magistrates of being "dictators" and waging a political battle against him.
He vowed to appeal the sentence, and may not serve any jail time.
He said he would not run for Prime Minister in the next general election but would stay in politics.
India- A man from Northern India tried to set a new world record by lifting weights with one of his ears.
Rakesh Kumar succeeded at lifting 187 pounds worth of weights with one ear.
He also told journalists in Punjab State that he lifted a 44 pound weight with one eye.
Kumar says he has set 28 records, but he wants to set 51 to put India at the top of the list of records created.
