An East Texas drug dealer is caught red-handed after police busted him with crack cocaine.

Police were first alerted to the alleged crime after a woman reported her son had borrowed her Ford Focus and traded it for crack cocaine.

At midnight Wednesday, Lufkin police officers found the car on Groesbeck Avenue and arrested the driver Milton Roberts, 25, of Lufkin, who was hiding about 3.5 grams of crack cocaine in a pill bottle in his underwear.

The car was returned soon after to the rightful owner.

Roberts was charged with possession of a controlled substance. He is currently in the Angelina County Jail.

The repeat offender was also arrested two days earlier for evading arrest, manufacture and delivery of a substance and possession of a controlled substance. He was released on $12,500 bail.
