Acadia Parish asks residents to make donation for Coat Drive

Crowley's Civic and Social Organization of the Luxurious Ladies are teaming up with local law enforcement for a Coat Drive that will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office.

According to Sheriff Melancon the event will be held in the Training Room at the Sheriff's Office from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. and is open to all Acadia Parish residents.

As we prepare for the event we are asking for residents of Acadia Parish to check your closets and donate slightly used coats for the drive.

Coats may be dropped off 24-hours a day at the following participating Police Department:

  • Crowley Police Department
  • Rayne Police Department
  • Church Point Police Department

Other locations during normal business hours are as follows:

  • Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office
  • Acadia Parish Detention Center
  • Acadia Parish 911
  • Iota Police Department
