Scott Hawkins bombs his 39th career homer in a win over the Jags

UL fans witnessed history Wednesday night at the "Tigue". Scott Hawkins walked to the plate in the second inning in second place all-time on the UL career homeruns list. A few pitches later, #11 was tied for #1 with Ron Robicheaux with 39 long balls.
It was an all around good night for the Cajuns who won 4-1. UL sent Matt Lackie to the hill against Southern for his first start of the season. Randall Bulliard and Luke Wagley pitched well in relief.
Next up for UL, a trip to Monroe over Easter weekend for another Sun Belt showdown.
