The CEO of Lafayette Economic Development Authority (LEDA) also announced a major new business expansion soon to come to the area.
"We got an industry coming PXP Plains Exploration has announced that they're building a twenty plus million dollar facility, and they will be creating hundreds of new jobs in the next few years that average over a hundred thousand dollars a year," says Gregg Gothreaux, CEO of LEDA.
