UL Lafayette Selects Winner Of Competition On The Best Way To Promote Louisiana Through Social Media
Competition has been hot and heavy at UL Lafayette.
Judges are taking a look at high school students proposals on how to best promote Louisiana through social media.
Dozens of students have been competing for eight months.
The UL Lafayette College of Business has been working with BP on promotional ideas.
A winner was selected today and that social media plan may be used by the Lieutenant Governor's office to help promote Louisiana.
" We've narrowed it down to 6 teams from Kilborne which is at the Arkansas border all the way down to Slidell and everywhere in between that are participating in the final competition. all i can tell you is that the people that didn't witness it don't understand the quality of our high school students. "
The Moody College of Business at UL and BP are offering over $70-thousand in scholarships and prizes for the six state finalists.
Tomorrow night we will announce the winning school.
