Nearly two hundred Saint Landry Parish School System employees will be out of a job by the end of May.
The school system is out of cash and with nearly 2 thousand employees, lay offs are the quickest way to stay in the black.
Non certified teachers, nurses, elementary school librarians, janitors, and receptionists are all at risk.
In about ten days the people who are being cut will get letters to let them know.
Over the summer, the school system will make even more cuts.
