Travelling down University between Carencro and Lafayette will be a little easier now.
 

Today officials cut the ribbon to celebrate the completion of a repaving project on the busy corridor.

It took a combination of federal, state and local money to redo the road.

 
Improvements run from Pinhook all the way to Carencro.

It's a stretch of road that sees more than twenty thousand cars a day.
