For the first time in two years Louisiana's 90 thousand state workers could see a raise.
It comes at a time when the Jindal Administration says there's a 900 million dollar hole in the budget.
According to the department of Adminstration the raises can only happen if each agency can find the money in savings.
That means no additional money will go to the raises.
Most state workers haven't seen a raise in two years.
For some it's been three years.
