Lafayette police are asking for your help to find a man wanted in connection with a stabbing.

Just after four am Saturday morning, Lafayette PD officers were called out to Church Hill Street where two men were fighting.

24 year old Miguel Martinez stabbed another man with a broken beer bottle.

The victim is expected to be ok, and Martinez is on the run.

Martinez faces second degree murder charges.
