Lafayette Police have identified the woman who jumped from a moving car on Ambassador Caffery Parkway
 

51 year old Rebecca Barras died from injuries she received when she hit the roadway.

 
Lafayette Police say two other people were in the car and they don't suspect they're responsible.
 

Lafayette police are continuing their investigation to determing exactly what happened.
