Governor Jindal To Support Bill To Keep Sex Offenders Out Of Public Libraries
Governor Jindal has announced he'll support a measure to keep sex offenders out of public libraries.
Proposed bill 162 has been filed by senator Sale Erdey.
If the law passes sex offenders who've been convicted of a sex act with a child under thirteen years old would be impacted.
The term public library will apply to all libraries across the state including libraries at colleges and universities.
