Today an Acadian Ambulance First Responder was named Paramedic Of The Year

Garrett Leboeuf from Houma was given that huge honor today in front of a packed house at the CajunDome Convention Center.

This is the biggest event of the year for the Emergency Medical Service field.

 Today's keynote speaker Reverend Harry Flynn presented La-Buff that big award.

This award ceremony coinciding with national EMS week.
