Acadia Parish Mother Is In Jail For Second Degree Murder
An Acadia Parish mother is in jail charged with second degree murder after her four children died in a house fire.
The State Fire Marshal's Office says 26 year old Shequeta MC Dade left her 8, 7, 5, and 2 year old children home alone when their mobile home caught fire.
Rayne police say - McDade was at a night club in Church Point when the fire started.
The Fire happened on Edith Street in Rayne.
Fire investigators are still trying to find out how the fire was sparked.
McDade is facing a one million dollar bond in the Acadia Parish Prison
two hundred and fifty thousand per count of murder she's charged with.
