Wettest month on record for New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS - December has already become the wettest month on record for the New Orleans area.

The National Weather Service says the rainfall is 11.3 inches above normal.

3,600 Entergy customers lost power Monday in the New Orleans area because of strong storms.

Lake Charles Parish closed all its schools because of flooded roads.
