Parish increases performance score
LAFAYETTE — Laffayette Parish schools are showing gains this year, according to school performances released by the state on Tuesday.
The Parish district performance score jumped from 91.5 to 96.1 points in one school year. This also moved the district up three places to 22nd in the overall state rankings.
The No Child Left Behind Act's goal is that all schools reach a school performance score of 120 by 2013.
