Lafayette school board voting on new high school

LAFAYETTE - The Lafayette school board is set to vote on the creation of a new high school.

The board will likely vote Wednesday on a measure that will transform N.P. Moss Middle School into the district's sixth comprehensive high school.

Opponents of the measure say that the school board should focus its resources on existing schools.
