Unemployment Rate In Third Straight Month Of Weak Hiring

Friday, July 6, 2012 - 9:41pm

The nation's unemployment rate remains at 8.2% marking the third straight month of weak hiring.

According to the new numbers from the U.S. Labor Department  the economy did add eighty thousand jobs but needs to add at least 125-thousand each month just to keep up with population growth.

This all adds up to bad news for President Obama even though he did try to put a positive spin on today's report.
