In Iberia Parish two residents are in jail for using stolen checks.

30 year old Blake Semar and 31 year old Brandy Segura are facing multiple charges tonight.

The Iberia Sheriff's Office says they stole a man's identity and opened a checking account in his name.

We're told they spent about thirteen hundred dollars.
