A Saint Landry Parish man is in jail after running over someone on Meche Road in Arnaudville.
 

The Saint Landry Parish Sheriff says Michael Stelly was high on Meth when he ran over Sherwin Boone.

 
 Sources say Boone was on his normal morning walk when he was hit by Stelly.

 
Stelly is charged with vehicular homicide and operating a vehicle under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance.
