"We got to get Congress to do their part. And that's where you come in."
After more than a week of blistering attacks by President Obama on the student loan issue Republicans passed their own interest rate reduction plan through the house and took a jab at the President at the same time.
"This week the President traveled across the country on taxpayers dime at a cost of $179,000 an hour insisting that Congress fix a problem that we were already working on."
The bill now heads to the Senate where its expected to be ignored.
If Lawmakers can't reach a compromise the college loan rates will double July first.
