Ragin Cajun fan's are still fired up over the great football season that first year head coach Mark Hudspeth had with a nine win season  that includes a New Orleans bowl game victory.
 

With That success came a new financial contract for Hudspeth and to help with that money, a group of UL fans organized a huge fundraiser called Ragin Cajuns Athletic Celebration.

The event was held before a huge turnout at the Cajun Dome two months ago.

Today, the results of the celebration was a check for one hundred fifty thousand dollars given to UL athletic director Scott Farmer.

Barrilleaux says he and his friends putting this celebration fundraiser together is a perfect example of getting behind the UL athletic program.

They're already planning on the second annual coming next spring.
