 For all music lovers out there.A new book by author Ben Sandmel on Ernie K-Doe.the R&B emperor of New Orleans is available at all area book stores

Doe a New Orleanian is responsible for Mother In Law a hit song from the 1960's.

Doe is considered one of the hidden jewels of New Orleans music.

Ernie K Doe died in 2001 but his legacy lives on tonight.

Ernie's last name is spelled K-Doe. The "K" is not a middle initial, so when referencing him by his last name it should be K-Doe, not Doe.
