The new man in charge of handing out B.P. claims addressed Legislators at the Capitol today.

Pat Juneau took over for Ken Feinberg about a month ago.

He's already opened eighteen facilities across the Gulf Coast to handle people's claims.

So far twenty thousand people have taken advantage of them.

He says even if you were previously denied a claim you should try again.

 
People have until April 22 2014 to file a claim.
