Lafayette Police are searching for a bank robber.

 
Lafayette Police say the man  pulled out a handgun at the Iberia Bank on pinhook road around 1:30 this afternoon.

They also say he demanded cash then took off in a white Chevrolet Trailblazer.

The man is described as a white man about six feet tall with a medium build.
