An Iota man is in jail charged with attempted first degree murder.
 

The Acadia Parish sheriff's office says 52 year old Clyde Hebert had a fight with two men late Sunday night.

He allegedly threw a hatchet and hit one of the men.

He's accused of pulling out a shotgun and hitting the other man with a bullet.

Both of the victims are going to be ok.

Hebert is in the Acadia Parish Jail on a two thousand dollar bond.
