In the sun one of the favorite places to go is of course the beach.

Now, Florida , Mississippi  and Alabama have rebounded and the tourism dollar is back.

As for Louisiana , the coastal business continues to suffer and because of that ten Parishes have formed the Louisiana Tourism Coastal Coalition.  

Now there is a big push to encourage Louisiana residents to use and explore thier own coast this summer. 

With Grand Isle and other towns offering charter boats, fishing is a top attraction on the Louisiana coast making it a perfect getaway and only a tank of gas away for Acadiana and Louisiana residents.
