According to the Secretary Of State's Office, more than 32,000 people across the state cast their ballot yesterday alone.

Almost 3900 did so here in East Baton Rouge Parish.

Those numbers are 28 percent higher than the 2008 Presidential election.

Some people we spoke with still had to wait over an hour to cast their ballot.

Early voting across the state continues from eight to six until Tuesday.

The polls are closed on Sunday.
