Baton Rouge was represented in today's famous hot dog eating contest in New York.

Woodlawn graduate Adrian Morgan took the stage for the second straight year.

This time around he was shooting to beat his personal record of thirty three hot dogs did it.

Morgan finished in sixth place by scarfing down two more than last year for a total of thirty five hotdogs in ten minutes.

Tonight Morgan is still recovering in New York.

 
For a sixth straight year, Joey Chestnut, aka "jaws" ate his way through a plate of sixty eight hot dogs in ten minutes to win the competition.

He took home ten thousand dollars and the coveted mustard yellow belt.

As for Adrian morgan he says he will be back next year.
