Bag Mat Ministry Workshop

Description

Join the Bag Mat Ministry and learn to make sleeping mats for the homeless from recycled plastic shopping bags. The group is currently making mats to send to Father Glenn Meaux's Haiti Mission. Workshops are at Grace Presbyterian Church, 518 Roselawn Blvd., Lafayette, next to L.J. Alleman School. Next meeting is Saturday, June 9th from 9am - 2pm. Bring a bag lunch and stay for the day, or stay just for an hour. This is a great project for youth service groups. For more information, contact: Mats4Homeless@gmail.com.
