New Orleans cop found guilty in Katrina shooting

NEW ORLEANS, LA--- A former New Orleans cop is found guilty in the death of an unarmed man.

David Warren was convicted of manslaughter after prosecutors said he fatally shot a man in the back outside a strip mall five years ago.

It happened in the midst of Hurricane Katrina's aftermath.

He now faces a maximum sentence of life in prison.

Two other officers connected with the shooting were also convicted of felonies.
