On Thursday, the Louisiana Board of Regents met to unveil a new plan to make it easier for college students to transfer from a 2-year college to a university.
It's called the Transfer Degree Guarantee Program. It will allow students to pick one of five cirriculum, each offering 60 hours of credit. Students enrolled in the program must maintain a C average.
Associate Commissioner Meg Casper says the main goal of the program is to allow students to transfer without losing credits.
