Lafayette and the Acadiana area is well known for it's many festivals.

One of the bigger festival's, Festivals Acadians, will take place on the second weekend of October in Girard Park.

This year, festival organizers and the University of Lafayette have joined together to put the event on for the public

ULL will play Oklahoma State at Cajun Field on Saturday, October 9.
