On Tuesday, detectives with the Lafayette Police Department identified the suspect responsible for the two armed robberies that occurred at 1001 Kaliste Saloom Road.

Thomas Paul Bourque, 26, of Scott was arrested and charged with 2 counts of armed robbery. He is alleged to have committed the robberies on September 10 and 15 at the business Cigarettes and Checks. The case remains under investigation.
