Bianya Tennerson was born in Fort Worth, Texas, but moved to Naples, Italy, at the age of eight.

Bianya discovered her passion for the media when she moved back to Fort Worth and took a media technology class her junior year at Southwest High School. Although initially behind the scenes, once she got a taste of doing play-by-play for the high school football games, there was no question what she’d be doing in the future.

Bianya majored in Broadcast Journalism at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. She anchored and produced at NTTV, the campus station. While interning at CBS 11, she had the opportunity to meet the Dallas Cowboys which is the highlight of her career thus far.

Now residing in Shreveport, Bianya is looking forward to soaking up everything the city has to offer.

When not reporting, Bianya can be found watching “the game.” She also enjoys shooting pool and traveling.
